Achill Swimming Festival
The annual three-day Féile Snámh Acla (Achill Swim Festival) will take place over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, between Friday 1st June and Sunday 3rd June 2007. Each day will host an 800m race in the crystal clear waters around Achill Island, with the swims beginning and ending on some of Achill’s five Blue Flag Beaches. This swimming festival is accredited with the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association.
Registration for each race will take place just prior to the event start time. More details regarding registration times can be found from the Achill Tourism Website.
