Ellie Lawrenson (5) was grabbed around the throat by the pit bull terrier at Jackie Simpson’s home in Knowles House Avenue, St Helens, on New Year’s Day. Ellie suffered 72 injuries in the prolonged attack by her uncle Kiel Simpson’s pit bull, Reuben. The dog, which had been involved in two other attacks, locked its jaws around the child’s throat and shook her.

Earlier today I reported on the Mayo News story about the finding of a half dead dog in Slievemore. It is DISGUSTING. simple as that for a human to do that to an animal no matter how unwanted it is. Two one-year-old dogs tied together, shot in the face and left to die. One of the dogs was dead on discovery but the other was still alive but bleeding heavily with a shotgun blast to the neck and head.

Some people don’t deserve dogs.
